Girls in Green
To add to the vivacious and vast array of Bullet projects for 2012 come the Somerville House Girls in Green.
Somerville House, a prestigious girls school in Brisbane (also infamously known for their bright green uniforms and the pride that they wear them with!) asked us to design a memento for the new girls visiting the junior school during their upcoming Open Day on March 17.
Each little girl who visits the Junior School for the first time will receive a sample bag with information about the school, but to make sure there is an element of fun included for the young ones, we designed these gorgeous little Girls In Green paper dolls and bookmarks to add to their sample bags.
The only problem is they're so cute we're not sure we want to give them away! We hope you enjoy.

Inspired Interiors
Our first project we would like to share with you for 2012 is our exciting interior design installation for Wintergarden and Broadway on the Mall Centre Management Office. The aim was to create a fashionable, yet fun environment to brighten up the office and help encourage creativity within the workplace. While using a set colour palette, we were able to theme each room uniquely while maintaining a harmony between the overall design.
Reception Area
In the reception area we used a feature wall of black and white wallpaper behind the white reception desk. To add some colour to the room we complimented the black and white with splashes of colour by installing an array of frames in all shapes and size housing colourful fashion focused prints. We also tied the frame colours in with these fantastic Matt Blatt chairs to add a final touch of inviting warmth and colour to the room.
Boardroom
Working with the existing furniture and being the most formal room in the office we didn't want to introduce too many colours or distractions into this room. Instead we used a professional yet fun design with a black and white pin stripped feature wall housing a beautiful glass whiteboard - and as a centrepiece we chose to install a chandelier over the boardroom table.
Casual meeting room
The casual meeting room was one of our favourite rooms to decorate. We wanted to create a space that encouraged constructive conversation in a relaxed and fun environment. To create this mood we decided to use a round table to give equal space and vision as the person next to them. Then we painted the feature wall from floor to ceiling with magnetic blackboard paint, creating a medium which was enjoyable yet useful to use.
Chat room
The chat room is another casual meeting area where staff can gather in a relaxed environment to enjoy anything from lunch to brainstorming meetings. In this area we brightened the existing fit out with colourful chairs and vases. On the facing wall we created an "Ideas Tree" design as a feature wall. To compliment the casual feel of the room, we designed a round whiteboard to fit under the tree design with the aim to encourage creativity from it's users.

Dandy December
Living up to our explosive year, Bullet has gone out with a big (stylish) bang revealing the Stage 2 opening for Wintergarden shopping mall, in the form of a 43m long, 4m high outdoor signage installation.
The high impact design is a focal point in Brisbane's popular Queen Street Mall and marks a new beginning for the shopping centre's next developments.
If you don't have a chance to see it in Brisbane this Christmas, here are a few shots.
A Merry Christmas to all and see you next year for more Bullet Creative brilliance!

Not so boring
At Bullet we like to keep things interesting and always enjoy working with clients and on briefs that come from outside the "usual box". So when KDPR and Bothar Boring and Tunnelling, asked us to make them a brand new website to coincide with their increasing International recognition, we jumped at the opportunity.
Our aims were to:
- incorporate the new branding consistently throughout the site
- modernise the website with a full CMS solution
- simplify navigation and usability to showcase content at it's best
- make 'Boring' more interesting!

September in the City of Brides
It’s September in the City of Brides and instead of blacking out the windows with Bridget Jones and 2kg of chocolate, this year, we thought we’d join them.
Queue our good friend, Bespoke Letterpress Boutique. Together, we would like to invite you to celebrate in the marriage between fine printing, and beautiful design.
We wish Samantha and Benjamin all the best for the future, and a fantastic celebration this weekend!

Wintergarden piecexpiece campaign
Boom!
We told you we'd keep our promise!
Another exciting project we'd like to share with you is this year's piecexpiece campaign for Wintergarden shopping centre in the Brisbane CBD.
We designed and produced a range of collateral, including large-scale signage, an interactive bus shelter, and a puzzle app on Facebook that helped increase their friend base significantly and launch the opening of the stage one renovations with a bang! The game has now come to an end, but you can check it out in the images below.

BULLET’S FIRST BLOG POST SINCE 2010!

In fact, we’ve been so busy that since our last post, the Bullet team has expanded by an extra two lovely & amazing designers. And we’ve decided that it’s high time to share with our friends exactly what we’ve been up to.

Starting with our squeaky clean online store for Alphamale Skin Care. We began this project towards the end of last year, starting with brand development, right through to front-end design and web development.
Check it out at alphamaleskincare.com.au.
Hope you like the first taste of Bullet 2011, there’s plenty more to share!

Is that a new mural you see?!
"GUNS & lollipops"
We didn't do this alone though... our friend Drew Fellows came in to share his talent and have some fun with fancy new liquid chalk pens we bought. Drew has more of his work over on his website here.
Hope everyone's having a great week!

Loving fashion
Our lovely client Brookside Shopping Centre is showing customers how to look stylish at their exclusive fashion workshops. To publicise the events we were called upon to create some very special fashion illustrations. This illustration created for the Cheap & Chic spring workshop features a beautiful girl with watercolour effects and some fun accessories. Love it!
We applied these illustrations to invitations, posters, banners and billboards, which resulted in a full house at the first spring event.
Light, summery and fun!
Hoarding treatments look fantastic and are worth the effort on a long term retail vacancy project under construction – adding colour and life and re-inforcing your brand.
We loved creating this one for Toowong Village and looking at it makes us want to lie in the grass and eat ice cream!

The Rocks Aroma Festival!
The sweet smell of coffee lured me to The Rocks this weekend, to attend the Aroma Festival. It was all about coffee, chocolate, tea and spice - which I happen to like! Apart from the enormously long lines you had to wait in to receive your coffees, this was a fun day out and fantastic to see the streets jam packed with other like-minded coffee punters!

Masterchef hits Toowong Village
A big crowd gathered last Friday and Saturday, as our client Toowong Village treated their customers to an up close and personal meeting with Skye Craig (former Masterchef 2 contestant). Skye entertained audiences cooking up her famous chocolate/avocado mousse.
Delicious!
We were very happy to help out with promotional material for the event including Banners, Posters and Point of Sale as well as Press and Website advertising. It was a great event enjoyed by all!
